Ecohome.
This is a system of fast track low cost housing designed to provide economical
simply constructed accommodation that can be erected with a minimum of tooling,
plant and experience to achieve a substantial construction quickly. Each one
of our standard frameless units can easily be modified or joined together to
reduce the unit cost and build time. Constructed on a locally produced concrete
base the external walls comprise insulated panels with two skins of cement board
bonded to an insulation core. This allows on site finishing to suit local conditions
such as paint or rendering. The roofs comprise steel composite insulated
panels from eaves to ridge. Insulated roof and walls provides protection from
hot and cold temperatures and afford a degree of comfort to the occupants. The
Ecohome system is suitable for modular construction of larger community
buildings such as schoolhouses and clinics.
